The Orange Labs Sensors APIs project provides a solution, offering a common platform for hosting sensor data of all types, in a standard format. Simply sign up, register a sensor, initialise your hardware, and just switch it on to begin sharing. We’ve even got some APIs for accessing the data with ease.
Plug and play architecture
We've made it as easy as possible for you to add your sensors to our network. All you need is hardware able to send a UDP string to our server, and you're good to go.
Full user control
Using our management portal, you can register new sensors with the system whilst keeping a close eye on those you already have.

With both a Java API and a RESTful API written in Node.js, accessing the data to use in your own applications couldn't be simpler.
