The education system has been improved by the introduction of vocational placements rather than hypothetical case studies set for students.

However,

1. Each academic institution has a small department and manual processes with no centralised structured data or process tracking so they can only work with a handful of companies.
2. Large companies with HR departments struggle to engage with more than one university and small companies do not have the resources to spend on this.
3. Students don’t have a verified way to show mix of skills, work experience and academic grades.
4. The results of these vocational placements are not surfaced in a centralised and structured way so that businesses and recruitment companies can interrogate them in order to inform the decision making when hiring graduates.

Introducing Project Placed

A centralised software platform and service that allows 100s of Universities to efficiently connect to, and manage, the placement of students across 1,000s of small and large companies to complete vocational projects that count towards their academic grade.

Support the daily work flows and data requirement of all three stakeholder groups as they go through the placement process, resulting in greater efficiency, reuse of data and dramatically increased choice of partners.

D. Placed Score
For each project a student undertakes,
Placed Score = a score made up from the academic grade + a grade from the company which will be verified by the university.
Unlike current aspects of a C.V, the Placed Score will give an employer the comfort that a university has ascertained both the technical ability to do the job but also readiness for the role.
