A chatbot to help software engineers meet the requirements of the NHS

- Abstract -


During the past decades, technology has improved the healthcare system in numerous ways. However, despite the revolutionary changes brought by technology, there is still gradual progression when it comes to developing softwares for healthcare companies, such as the NHS. This is caused as a result of the gap in the communication of engineers with workers from the NHS. That is why we created our PRIDAR Chatbot to bridge the gap between software engineers and the NHS. We designed our chatbot to help answer question about the application and deployment of AI software in the NHS.

- What is PRIDAR? -


The PRIDAR standard is a set of extra criteria software must meet before being approved for deployment in the NHS. Spanning across several topics, from IP agreements to safety officers, it is always unmet in some areas by software solutions fresh out of development. This leads to significant delays (3+ years) in the deployment of already finished software solutions.
