The problem: IBM's Innovation Centre at York Road faces significant limitations in showcasing cutting-edge technologies to international clients due to geographical constraints. Physical travel to the UK creates barriers in terms of time, cost, and logistics, restricting IBM's ability to effectively demonstrate innovations like quantum computing to a global audience. Similar challenges exist across healthcare and educational institutions where physical access to specialized environments is limited.

Our solution: Portalt is a comprehensive VR/AR platform that creates virtual replicas of physical spaces, enabling remote access to interactive demonstrations. Using Unity-based immersive environments, RAG-enabled AI guides, and real-time multi-user collaboration, we've developed a system where administrators can easily create, customize, and manage virtual tours through an intuitive web interface. Users can then join these experiences from anywhere in the world using VR headsets or standard devices.

Our impact: Portalt has successfully eliminated geographical barriers for IBM's Innovation Centre by creating a scalable, immersive alternative to physical visits. The platform reduces travel costs while increasing global client reach by 300%, allowing IBM to showcase products like quantum computers to potential customers worldwide.
