This is so immersive!

Project Update and Exclusive Footage
This was a big meeting with Dean, group 25, Chris and the other more senior students involved in the entire project. Much of what was said was not directly aimed at us but to the more senior members of the teams.
One big takeaway from this meeting was what was coming up. Most importantly we found out that we needed to have a video up showcasing the current capability of the motion input MFC app through hit trigger, speech command, motion gestures and pseudo VR input. However we also need to showcase the capability of playing the game for disabled people (sitting down). This directly affects the Pseudo VR input and locomotion in the game. We later decided that the team would all record the game with some imitating disabled input and then we would stitch the footage together.
We also discussed how we should co operate with the other teams most notably team 25 who we’ve been told whom we need to have a fairly similar literature review and there are definitely aspects of their work that we need to include in ours. We will continue to be in close discussion with them throughout the project.
There was a large focus on getting speech control right as compared to the other types of controls, speech controls is the fastest in terms of response time when compared to other modes of input so a larger degree of focus has been put on that.
For future we should be able to get accessibility to one of the computers in the CS labs to film and test on.
In the Meantime
Chris demonstrates MotionInput v3.1 by playing Spider-Man and taking on the challenge of defeating Kingpin. He uses PseudoVR mode to play the game with speech to trigger certain actions.

I am very happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.
