Progress Report

During the holidays a couple of things were done by the team. WeiYi and Abid worked on implementing a version of the MotionInput software to work with the game Minecraft using hit triggers, voice commands and hand tracking but without gestures since there aren’t any appropriate gestures at the moment.

Upon completion, a video demonstration was done for playing the game both standing up and sitting down and uploaded to Professor Dean’s Youtube channel. The intention is to present the implementation early on in term 2.

How's it Looking so Far?

There were a few other miscellaneous things done. For example, Abid wrote up some documentation for future use when we need to add features to MotionInput modes. Some debugging was done on the MotionInput code and finally some more testing was done.

A number of presentations are around the corner when term starts so we need to get ready compiling the work that we want to present as well as making sure everything works efficiently.

Wish us Luck!
